The goal of the Integrated Farming Development
(IFD) project is to contribute to poverty reduction
and to improve food and nutrition security for
rural households. The project's development
objective is to increase the productivity of farmers
and smallholder agricultural production in a
sustainable and climate-resilient manner, and to
improve the livelihoods of rural communities.
The IFD project will directly benefit thousands of
rural households, which is approximately more
than a million people, of which 30 percent will be
women and 40 percent will be youth.
